Back by popular demand, Women of Intention will be returning for the third year to Lake Redman to spend a relaxing evening boating under the stars.

If you have never been out on a lake at night, you are in for a treat. The stars are brilliant; the sounds of nature comforting.

We will gather at the Pavillion near the Lake at 7:00 PM. Please bring a dish to share. Paperware, silverware, dessert, fruit and beverages will be provided.

Summer Solstice is a time when Earth and all her inhabitants join in celebration for the blessings bestowed from the marriage of heaven and earth. Karen Dugan of the Cormac Center will lead us in a circle dance of joy as we open our hearts and minds. W e will call on the four directions and their elements to bless our gathering and turn our hearts inward for the long journey to the beauty of all that is.

At about 8:30, we will head out on the water and have until 9:45 to enjoy the solitude and beauty of the outdoors after dark.

At 9;45, we will meet in the middle of the Lake where Jeri Jones, York Recreation's Amateur Astronomer Extraordinare, will tie our boats together. For the next 30 minutes, with the assistance of his trusty laser pointer, we will be treated to his tour of the heavens. The evening will conclude with our making our own ice cream sundaes. Could life get any better than that?

The evening will conclude close to 11:00 or a little after. The raindate is the next Friday, June 27th. Please align with my intention and request to the Weather God/Goddess that June 20th be an evening clear of all clouds with a temperature in the low 70's.

As we get closer to the event, if anyone is in need of a ride and/or wishes to car pool, I will do my best to connect those that are going. Lake Redman is at the southern end of York and takes approximately 30 minutes to get to from the 581/83 South split.

Feel free to share this e-mail with any friends that you think would enjoy the evening. If you have a daughter, or mother, that you believe would find this fun, by all means invite them. Hope to see you there. If you are planning to attend, please fill out the form below. There are a limited number of each type of boat, so register early to get your first choice.

Please send your check to Vicki Fox Productions at 1200 Edinburg Circle, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
